Climber:

Knowledgeable of all modern techniques of climbing and rigging
Comfortable with close quarter removals
Comfortable using a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees
Willing to follow company and ANSI safety standards and wear necessary PPE
Professional and punctual
Able to work well in all temperatures/ weather and tolerate excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, wood chipper with use of hearing protection
In good physical shape and able to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Compensation:

Bi-weekly pay period
Pay is DOE

Requirements:

Driver’s License
Reliable vehicle
2 years minimum climbing experience that is verifiable
Climbing gear
Ability to work Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays year round
Must have endurance to perform job duties throughout a standard 8-12-hour day.

Groundsman:

Safety for all types of equipment used i.e.: chipper, stump grinder, chain saws
Being a reliable member of the team
Responsive to visual cues and hand signals from the climber and acting promptly with the ground support
Keep the works area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are brought down in the tree cutting work
Raking the area clear to maintain the safety zone
Lining up branches and piling them appropriately for loading into the chipper
Keeping tools in the staging area and safety zone
Assuring that all lines are clear at all times
Being attentive to the climber’s cues throughout the job, always keeping their eyes on the climber
Hauling brush
Able to work well in all temperatures/ weather and tolerate excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, wood chipper with use of hearing protection
In good physical shape and able to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
